Terms & Conditions

Effective July 8, 2026

These terms are provided for general informational purposes and aren’t a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. If you need legal certainty about how they apply to you, consult one.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Waypoint (buildonwaypoint.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Waypoint guides you, step by step, through building and shipping a Flutter iOS app — including AI chat guidance, AI-generated code, screenshot-based troubleshooting, and help preparing your App Store submission.

2. Accounts

You need a Google or Apple account to sign in. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it.

3. Subscriptions & billing

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. AI-generated content

Code, guidance, and documents (including draft Privacy Policies or Terms for your own app) generated by Waypoint are produced by an AI model and provided “as is.” They may contain mistakes, and generated legal documents are explicitly not legal advice — have a lawyer review anything you intend to publish or rely on. You’re responsible for reviewing and testing any generated code before shipping it.

6. Your content and intellectual property

You own the app, code, and content you create using Waypoint. We don’t claim ownership over anything you build. Waypoint itself — the platform, its design, and underlying technology — remains our property.

7. Third-party services

Building and shipping an iOS app involves other services outside our control — including Apple’s Developer Program, App Store Connect, and Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we’re not responsible for their availability, pricing, or policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Waypoint is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that your app will be approved by the App Store, that generated code will be bug-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, or App Store rejection.

10. Termination

You can stop using Waypoint and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
